The Opera in Oslo wanted its new centre equipped with the most advanced and reliable electronic libretto and opera seatback display technologies. Radio Marconi OnStage text display system was chosen by the customer Statsbygg for its reliability and costs, besides the excellent references, technical and organisational abilities and being in possession of all the economic and financial qualifications required.
Thanks to its organisational and logistic abilities certified by ISO 9001, certification expressly required by the customer, Radio Marconi realised all the units necessary to the project's completion, working closely together with the architects.
Radio Marconi realised eight different mechanics, specifically designed for every space in the theatre, moreover it realised all the electronic and software personalization, as its "Made For You" customisation program promises.

Store Sal
The realisation of Store Sal was a challenge, but a challenge that Radio Marconi won: every seat was provided with a display perfectly aligned with the centre of the stage and all the mechanics were realised according to the six different kind of seat in the theatre, while the seats in the front row have special displays on a removable mechanism.
The balcony fronts needed 4 different kinds of mechanics too: inclined and removable from one side and it further needed special seats equipped with removable electronic devices.
Moreover, Radio Marconi realized a space for the direction mixer used during rehearsals, a space in the middle of the stalls but made on particular trapdoor which can be hidden during the performance.

Lille Sal
Oslo new Operaen Lille Sal could change the seating arrangements in 8 different ways, always providing the audience its own display.
The seats, more than 400, are divided in many different wagon: each can be connected with the next one by reliable and solid connection systems in order to be able to change the seating arrangements at any time.
